I went with Access Nepal to complete the Annapurna Sanctuary trek (slightly longer scenic route that arrives at ABC) in March this year, with a friend. We had an amazing guide, Devman, who had everything sorted brilliantly, from start to finish. It meant that we could relax and focus on the trek, knowing that he was taking care of everything. He and our Porters looked after us all beautifully over the 14 days. We all taught each other a few new card games in the guesthouses too over plenty of cups of hot lemon honey tea at the end of the day’s walk. When we got back, we compared what people were paying in accomm and meals when trekking independently, and it’s quite striking how competitive it actually is, with all of the inclusions (like proper down jackets, fresh fruits and snacks in addition to meals, transit fares etc etc), and for us it was a no brainer when you’re going up into these Mountains with someone like Devman who is an expert in what he does. Will be going with them again.

We did a 14 Day Trek to Everest Base Camp with Access. Our tour guide Kumar along with our two Porters were absolutely fantastic. The entire tour was professionally organised and everything went as planned.We found our tour to be considerably less expensive than the major operators and food was included.

I cannot express enough thanks to our guide Dipendra Bikram Budhathoki who expertly led our group patiently and expertly to and from EBC. We were a mix of ages and abilities but throughout Dipendra kept us all focussed, upbeat and looked after so we had a 100% success rate (something that is very hard to achieve with the many unknowns of trekking to 5365m altitude). Whilst others on the trail seemed intent on rushing, Dipendra encouraged us to take it easy and enjoy the amazing scenery so that when we arrived at the lunch restaurants and the lodges each night and he went into overdrive to get our orders/checkin happening we only had to worry about refuelling and relaxing. He was a superb guide and I am certain that our trek would not have been as memorable without him. If you can choose your guide, choose Dipendra.Oliver H USA
