Three Supreme Gods, Bruma the creator, Vishnu the protector and Shiva the destroyer are the major gods who have incarnated themselves multiple times to save humanity and the creation. Shiva, one of the strongest gods which third eyes can burn and destroy whole creation stayed in Mount Kailash to be closer to humanity. Vishnu incarnated himself as a human and animals to teach the lesson of brotherhood, love, faith and ideal living. Bruma who believes to have created the whole earth and living beings writes the destiny of each living being. There are other millions of gods and goddesses Hindu people worship and the myth surrounding those gods and goddesses are both entertaining and educative to both young and old people. Almost more than 60% of people in Nepal are Hindu and in many holy books of Hindus, Nepal has been mentioned as one of the major parts of holy sites where gods and goddesses have lived and stepped foot. Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu Arrival

Welcome to the city of temples. Kathmandu is filled with temples and religious shrines in every corner which gives you an idea, how religious Nepali people are. After claiming your luggage look for the signage of Access Nepal with your name on it just outside the arrival hall. Our representative will escort you to the hotel and help you in checking-in. You will be briefed about the whole program with important safety briefing as well. In the evening we will have a complimentary welcome dinner in a nice cozy Nepali restaurant enjoying the cultural show.

Day 2Sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkantha and Kathmandu Durbar Square

We will start the sightseeing by visiting the 2nd holiest temple in the whole of Asia, Pashupatinath. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva in the incarnation form of God Pashupatinath (God of Animals). It is believed that the temple stands on the land where a piece of horn was buried which was broken from the head of Shiva during the struggle between Shiva and Vishnu. Pashupatinath also banks Bagmati River, a holy river that cleanses the people who bath in it spiritually. You can also see the cremation area in the riverbank which is an offbeat experience. Budhanilkantha, a holy temple of Lord Vishnu lies only an hour’s drive from Pashupati. 5 meters tall statue carved in a single block of basalt is reclining in the middle of the pool where Vishnu is sleeping above a mythical serpent, Sheesha. One of the major temples of Vishnu, Budhanilkantha holds a significant religious value. Then we will drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square. City of Temples, Kathmandu valley is rich in temples and gods/goddesses idols in every corner of the city. In the ancient courtyard, you will be able to witness the religious side of Nepali people as there is fewer buildings than the temples. Taleju Temple, Jagganath temple, Kasthamandap, Kotillengeshwara Mahadev, Mahendraswara, etc are few temples located inside the Durbar square.

Day 3Sightseeing Daskshinkali Temple and Patan Durbar Square

After Breakfast, we will drive for an hour to reach Dakshinkali which is a temple of Goddess Kali, a bloodthirst form of Shiva’s wife Parvati. Kali is considered as one of the most furious Hindu goddess who all the gods and goddesses fear. To satisfy the thirst, everyday devotees offer killing of animals like chicken, goat, etc. Then we will drive to one of the oldest ancient cities, Patan which is famous for its beautiful palaces, religious Buddhist and Hindu shrines, and magnificent idols. Krishna Temple, Bhimsen Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Taleju Bhawani, etc are some major religious sites we will be visiting in Patan.

Day 4Drive to Pokhara [8 hours] and On the way visit Manakamana Temple

Through the serpentine Privthvi Highway we will be driving towards Pokhara, a picturesque place famous for the lakes, beautiful mountain views and peaceful ambiance. On the way, we also will be visiting Manakamana Temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. The temple has a myth of fulfilling the wishes and prayer of devotees. We will be riding a cable car to reach the top of the hill where the temple is located. After reaching Pokhara, we will have boating in Fewa Lake (Second largest lake of Nepal) to visit a temple situated in the middle of the Lake. Various myth surrounds the Goddess Durga’s temple where some believe the temple was built after the goddess came in a dream of Kaski’s King and some believes the place where the temple stands saved a sole survivor of the village due to his kindness when everyone else lost their lives in a flood.

Day 5Fly to Jomsom [25 minutes] and drive to Muktinath Temple

Early morning we will drive to Pokhara airport and fly to Jomsom. Then we will drive from Jomsom to Muktinath in a private Jeep. One of the holiest Hindu temples in the world, Muktinath is an amazing example of the interrelationship of Buddhism and Hinduism. Despite being the temple of Hindu God Vishnu, the puja (the act of worshipping) is carried by Buddhist monks and the temple is taken care of by nuns. One of the Shaktipeetha of Hindus, the temple is also one of the highest temples which is at the height of 3800m. People believe visiting the religious site will wash away the sins they made. After the excursion to the Muktinath temple, we will drive back to Jomsom for the night.

Day 6Fly to Pokhara, Sightseeing Bindyabasini and Drive to Bandipur [4 hours]

Early morning we will fly back to Pokhara and then we will visit Bindyabasini Temple. According to the myth, the deity was brought in Pokhara from Bindyanchal, India by King Prithvi Narayan Shah (Founder of modern Nepal) before the unification of Nepal. After the sightseeing, we will drive to Bandipur. Bandipur a trade center for the salt from Tibet and Spices from India, is a small village located in the hill of Tanahun from where you can get the most amazing panoramic view of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesha, and Boudha Himal. Besides the view, Bandipur is also famous for the heritage market that has been preserved beautifully by the locals.

Day 7 Drive to Nagarkot [5-6 hours]

After breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu. Today we will be staying in Nagarkot instead of Kathmandu, a small hill station in Kathmandu filled with pine forest and peaceful ambiance. Nagarkot is also famous for the view of mountains, rural Nepal and probably the best sunrise views from Kathmandu. We will take short walks around the forest and spend the evening watching the sunset from the Hotel.

Day 8Sightseeing Changunarayan Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square

The sunrise view from Nagarkot is just heart whelming. We will wake up early to see the magnificent sunrise shining upon the panoramic view of Himalayas. After our breakfast, we will hike/drive towards Chanunarayan temple. the oldest temple of Nepal. Legend has it, Lord Vishnu was cursed for wrongdoing and trapped as a tree in the champak forest where a Brahmin (Priest) and a shepherd tried to cut it down. In the process, the tree began to bleed and Vishnu was freed from the cursed. Then the temple was built in that place where still the bloodline of the priest is chosen as the main priest of the temple and the bloodline of the shepherd are chosen as the head of the temple trust. Bhaktapur, “City of Devotees” is another ancient palace courtyard where you can see the temples and shrines in every corner. Natyapola, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Mini Pashupatinath, Vatsala Temple, Bhairabanath Temple, etc are few religious sites besides the magnificent historical monuments are architect depleting the Nepali art and culture.

We will drive back to Kathmandu after the sightseeing, wherein in the evening we will have a complimentary Farwell dinner in a fine restaurant to celebrate the amazing trip of Heavenly Nepal.

Day 9Final Departure

3 hours prior to your scheduled flight, our representative will escort you to the Tribhuvan International Airport. We hope to meet you again on your next adventure.

Completed the three peaks pass with access Nepal. Hiked for 15 days straight. Found a couple of day’s challenging. The challenge made the adventure even more special. Found access Nepal to be a great company. Everything was organised and constant communication between their office and our designated go between. Our guide Subodh was fantastic. Provided plenty information on cultural landmarks along the walk and of Nepal itself. He encouraged us to go at our own pace and was flexible with the path to make some days easier and catch up on other days. We had 3 sherpas Netra, yubaraj and Dipesh. These guys are beasts and well deserve a generous tip. All in all the trip was fantastic and the price for the trip was on the low side compared to other tour companies and they are a local company that rely on word of mouth. I did the Three Passes Trekking with Access and I can assure you that it was the best experience of my life. Sadhana gave me all the support a few weeks before the trip, organized the itinerary, a guide gave me all the tips before the trip, clothes, health, itinerary, tips and everything else. In addition to everything, Lakpa was my guide, I don't know what would have become of me without him, he recognized the moments when I was very tired, he arranged all my organization for a peaceful stay in the lodges and he gave me a lot of support. This is our second time going with Access Nepal, this time for our honeymoon, and it was just as fantastic the second time around. It's an absolutely lovely company that will handle your trip as professionally as possible, from arriving at the airport to leaving again. They listen to your needs and wishes, and customize the trip accordingly. We are always incredibly well taken care of by one of the managers, Sadhana, who is a dear friend by now, who always does anything she can to make the trip the absolute best it can be. And we couldn't have asked for better company or a more trustworthy guide than our guide Giri. The company has very high standards as to how they treat and compensate their staff, and its really visible in the content and pride shown by all of their staff members. As for the treks they offer, we've done both the Everest three high passes and the Manaslu circuit now, and both have been absolutely mind-blowing. There really is no other place in the world like the Himalayas. Every single part; the Jeep ride into the areas, the high roads, the mountain sides, the mountains following your every step; everything is just absolutely amazing. I had one of the best experiences of my life with Accsess Nepal, in the mountains of Nepal. To go to the Everest Base Camp is a dream of many. However, I wanted a little bit more, so I chose the "Everest 3 High Passes - 19 days" trek. Incredible. The sights and people of this wonderful place will remain etched in my memory forever. The company provided all the administrative support for my arrival in Kathmandu, through Sadhana. She was always very prompt with my various questions and ensured a perfect organization for my comfort and safety. And, finally, Devman. He was our guide during the trek. A first-rate professional.   It was worth waiting so many years
I did the Everest Base Camping trek with this agency and it was much better than I expected. I made the trip alone and received all the support from Sadhana and had the most partner guide along with the porter. I felt safe and respected the entire time. We form a family and enjoy every day with great joy. This trip will stay forever in my memory and heart.   Grand tour of Nepal
Our whole trip to Nepal was excellent from the tailor made itinerary organized by Pratap to the internal transfers by car. The whole trip was professionally organized after several discussions until it was exactly as we wanted and the tour company did not fail us. Our guide Bimal was very protective and very knowledgeable and the driver Laxman was safe and very experienced. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family as we got the exact trip that we wanted and expected. The hotels selected were fantastic throughout.
