Kicking off 600km journey on Nepal’s longest Highway is full of life. Flying to Biratnagar Airport and driving to Koshi Tappu is the beginning of Complete Wildlife Tour in Nepal. Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, a protected park in Eastern Nepal is birder’s paradise. 485 species of birds including residential and migratory birds have been recorded at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. Rarest Bengal florican has been frequented sighted at wetlands of Koshi Tappu. Three hundred and thirty kilometers west lies Chitwan National Park. The heavenly abode for more than 45 species of mammals which includes one horned rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger, over 450 species of colorful birds, and more than 45 species of amphibians and scary reptiles including ghariyal. The park, offers probably the best Elephant Safari of the continent. Travelling almost 250 km west is Bardia National Park. The largest and the most isolated National Park in Nepal’s lowland covers total area of 968 sq. km. The park has the balance mixture of grasslands, marshlands and riverine forests. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel; Evening welcome dinner at a cultural restaurant

Actually, Nepal opens in the air; just before the plane lands at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. If you are, lucky enough with the bright sunshine on your arrival day the wide range of soaring Himalayan Peaks to the North is a magnificent view. As you complete the immigration formalities of the airport and make your way out from the Arrivals Terminal, we would offer you a warm Nepalese welcome and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel in a private vehicle. At hotel, you will have a very easy check-in procedure. Let the flight exhaustion go off in the cozy hotel room. In the evening, we will offer you a welcome dinner in one of the finest cultural restaurants of the city.

Day 2Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

 After the breakfast, we will escort you to Pashupatinath- the largest Hindu Temple of Nepal in a private vehicle. The temple dedicated to supreme Hindu God, Shiva banks Bagmati River. At Pashupatinath you will get to see exceptionally carved statues and idols of Hindu deities, a long row of Shiva-Lingas, series of small temples and the golden hood at the top of main Temple is truly fascinating. Moreover, an opportunity to witness the Hindu Death ritual at Aryaghat Pashupatinath is an offbeat cultural experience. After the exploration of Pashupatinath we will walk along the busy streets of Kathmandu to Boudhanath. A large domed shaped Buddhist stupa, Boudhanath holds huge religious significance among the Tibetan Buddhists of Nepal. A major shrine on ancient Indo-China trade route Boudhanath offered blessings to traders and scholars for safe journey through the high Himalayan passes to Tibet. Saffron robed monks circumambulating Boudhanath, colorful prayer flags touching the skyline from the dome pinnacle to the base of large monument and the and outlets selling Tibetan souvenirs makes this place a true Tibet outside Tibet. Post lunch the sightseeing tour continues to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The exemplary wooden and stone craftsmanship at the site makes a place the prominent attraction for tourists. The stone paved streets, pagoda style religious monuments inclusive different Hindu deities are the cultural delights of ancient and medieval Nepal at Kathmandu Durbar Square.  Today’s final destination for sightseeing tour in Kathmandu takes you to Swayambhunath. A self emerged Buddhist stupa lies on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu with its watchful eyes. You will get to experience more about Tibetan Buddhism at Swayambhunath.After the full day; sightseeing tour a private vehicle will escort you to your hotel.

Day 3Fly to Biratnagar and drive to Koshi Tappu 47km Wildlife Reserve and wildlife activity at Koshi Tappu

Today after the breakfast, you will fly to Biratnagar from Kathmandu. Forty-five minutes of flight will bring you to one of the major towns of Nepal’s Terai Biratnagar. Almost one-hour drive from the Eastern headquarter, Biratnagar would bring you to Koshi Tappu. A 175 sq km of forestland that comprises majority of grasslands and marshland is an ideal habitat for birds. More than 600 species of birds have been sighted here and hence Koshi Tappu in one of the paradises for the birders. Similarly, the last remaining wild buffaloes can be sighted in the park. On our arrival at the park, we will check in into our resort and instantly go for the jungle activity. Today we will go for the elephant safari into the jungle

Day 4Full day wildlife activity at Koshi Tappu

Today, in the morning you will go for the village walk. The village walk in Koshi Tappu takes you to the authentic and tarditional habitat of ethnical tribes of the region- tharus. The patriarchal families of tharus hold unique culture that solely can be realized after seeing their houses. Small huts with mud and bamboo walls, straw thatched roofs and colorful paints on the walls manifest that tharus have rich culture to amaze any new visitor to their community. Farming, fishing and cattle herding are the main occupations tharus do for their livelihood. After the village walk, we walk back to our resort for the breakfast. After the breakfast we set out for the jungle activity with packed lunch.Our jungle activity for the day includes canoe trip and jeep drive. Floating with river torrent in a dugout canoe is an ideal way to see birds species, which reside in the river shores. The canoe trip also is an opportunity to observe the aquatic life of the park. Mugger crocodile and the gangetic dolphins live in the rivers of Koshi Tappu. The day’s wildlife activity ends with the fascinating jeep drive deeper into the woods. A 2-4 hours of jeep drive is adventurous way to sight species like water buffaloes. deers, rhinos, sloths and different species of birds among others.

Day 5Full day Wildlife safari at Koshi Tappu

Today, we will once again enjoy the full day wildlife activity at Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve. In today’s activity we have Elephant Safari and Birdwatching Tour. In the late morning, we will go for the Elephant Safari. During the safari on gaint Asiatic elephant, we once again try to sight as many as wild species. We make sure we ride to the right regions of the jungle, where abdundant wildlife activity can be observed. After the wildlife Safari, we ride back to the resort, enjoy our lunch and then go for the bird-watching tour. The bird-watching today includes a short drive to Koshi Barradge, where several species of migratory and residential birds can be spotted. We will also go for the short walk inside the jungle and short canoe ride so that we can observe new species of birds found inside Koshi Tappu.

Day 6Morning nature walk and drive to Chitwan National Park National Park

Today early morning we will go for nature walk in the woods of Koshi Tappu. Koshi Tappu is a paradise for different species of migratory and residential birds.  After the nature walk we enjoy the breakfast and begin the drive to Chitwan National Park. On the way to Chitwan we will stop for a while to observe more birding activities at Koshi Barradge. After six hours of drive we will arrive to Chitwan National Park. Today we will have light activities in the park. We will have a briefing session, a short safari and a wildlife slide show at the resort.

Day 7 Full day wildlife activity at Chitwan National Park

A full day safari activity in Chitwan National Park offers several activities. Early morning as you wake up after the wake up call, you will go for the Nature walk with the local wildlife expert. Nature walk allows you to sight the birding activities at full swing in the banks of Rapti River. The park also houses several hundred species of residential and migratory birds. After the nature walk, you will return to the resort and enjoy the breakfast. Post breakfast, you will go for the canoeing in Rapti River. Canoeing at Rapti is wonderful way to observe bird’s species and aquatic life, which include the possible sighting of gangetic dolphin. The final jungle activity includes jungle safari to the jungle, elephant bathing session and visit to elephant breeding center at park’s neighborhood. The whole day’s activity is full of fun, thrill and great wildlife experiences.

Day 8Morning Nature Walk and drive to Bardia National Pak

Today, in the early morning you will go for the last Jungle Safari so that you can get the best of Chitwan National Park. Then after the breakfast, you will begin your journey towards Bardia  in a private vehicle. Once we reach Bardia we will be transferred to Resort. In the resort, we will be briefed on the program details and its facilities. After being given your program for the day, we refresh  with a cup of tea/coffee for refreshment and in the evening, we will enjoy our time with dinner at resort. Stay overnight at Bardia national park.

Day 9Full day wildlife activity at Bardia National Park

Early morning, we wake up with the wakeup call, drink a  cup of hot tea/coffee  served with choice of your breakfast and set off for the Elephant Safari. The Safari, which goes deep into the woods of Bardai National Park is an excellent opportunity to see Asian Elephant, Great One Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer (Barasingha), Nilgai (Bull), Black Buck, Wild Boar, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena and even 50-50 chances to see the Royal Bengal Tiger. The safari ends at the resort. Before lunch, we can leisurely relax playing a game or billiards with your friends or just spend a few quiet moments in our library with a book. After your refreshment and little rest, you will be served with hot Lunch. After lunch at resort, we go for Jungle walk, which is an excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals and birds. To have the wild sightseeing from the Tower (Machan), accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker is wonderful experience at Bardia National Park. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful.In the evening, we can enjoy Tharu cultural dance, which is presented by the local villagers in which you can also participate. After the cultural program, it is time for Dinner. Stay overnight at resort in Bardia National Park.

Day 10Full day wildlife activity at Bardia National Park

Today as well, wake up early, enjoy the breakfast and begin the wildlife activity. Today, we drive to the rafting point. White water rafting at Bardia is a scenic floating trip, which goes through exciting rapids, deep gorges forested hillsides and remote villages. This would be, an excellent opportunity for bird watching. Rafting will last by 3-4 hrs  and during the period pack lunch will provided. After rafting, in the afternoon,  it is time for Jeep drive which will provide you an excellent opportunity to see many wild animals, as the drive goes deeper into the woods. After the jungle drive, we will head back to resort and can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.. Evening we enjoy our dinner and Stay overnight at resort at Bardia.

Day 11Drive to Nepalgunj and fly to Kathmandu;Evening farewell dinner

Enjoy the morning with cup of hot tea or coffee then breakfast.  Explore around the resort till the departure time. We will drive to Nepalgunj by car from where you board a plane to Kathmandu. On arriving Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your hotel. The afternoon is a free time for you to revisit the place you prefer, travel on your own to a new place, wonder around Thamel hunting souvenirs or simply stay your hotel. In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner in a cultural restaurant together. Kathmandu Hotel  accommodation with breakfast is included


Day 12Depart Kathmandu

As per your flight schedule, you will drive with our representative to the airport in a private vehicle. Have a safe flight and visit Nepal time and again.

Day 13Fly to Kathmandu (1350m / 4428ft), ~30 min

Our flight to Kathmandu is in the morning. After breakfast, we check in to the Lukla airport and board the plane to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, you are transferred to your hotel. In the evening, we meet up before your farewell dinner. At this point, we would love to hear your experience and appreciate any feedback regarding the trek. You are then escorted to the restaurant for a farewell dinner. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Excellent all round Completed the three peaks pass with access Nepal. Hiked for 15 days straight. Found a couple of day’s challenging. The challenge made the adventure even more special. Found access Nepal to be a great company. Everything was organised and constant communication between their office and our designated go between. Our guide Subodh was fantastic. Provided plenty information on cultural landmarks along the walk and of Nepal itself. He encouraged us to go at our own pace and was flexible with the path to make some days easier and catch up on other days. We had 3 sherpas Netra, yubaraj and Dipesh. These guys are beasts and well deserve a generous tip. All in all the trip was fantastic and the price for the trip was on the low side compared to other tour companies and they are a local company that rely on word of mouth. Fantastic company that will give you the experience of a lifetime! This is our second time going with Access Nepal, this time for our honeymoon, and it was just as fantastic the second time around. It's an absolutely lovely company that will handle your trip as professionally as possible, from arriving at the airport to leaving again. They listen to your needs and wishes, and customize the trip accordingly. We are always incredibly well taken care of by one of the managers, Sadhana, who is a dear friend by now, who always does anything she can to make the trip the absolute best it can be. And we couldn't have asked for better company or a more trustworthy guide than our guide Giri. The company has very high standards as to how they treat and compensate their staff, and its really visible in the content and pride shown by all of their staff members. As for the treks they offer, we've done both the Everest three high passes and the Manaslu circuit now, and both have been absolutely mind-blowing. There really is no other place in the world like the Himalayas. It's too amazing to describe in words or pictures. I can't tell you anything but to GO!!! It's well, well, well worth the time and cost!!

3 passes with Accsess Nepal I had one of the best experiences of my life with Accsess Nepal, in the mountains of Nepal. To go to the Everest Base Camp is a dream of many. However, I wanted a little bit more, so I chose the "Everest 3 High Passes - 19 days" trek. Incredible. The sights and people of this wonderful place will remain etched in my memory forever. The company provided all the administrative support for my arrival in Kathmandu, through Sadhana. She was always very prompt with my various questions and ensured a perfect organization for my comfort and safety. And, finally, Devman. He was our guide during the trek. A first-rate professional. Very concerned about the safety of the group. Knowledgeable about the mountain and the fantastic Nepalese culture. It was worth waiting so many years I did the Everest Base Camping trek with this agency and it was much better than I expected. I made the trip alone and received all the support from Sadhana and had the most partner guide along with the porter. I felt safe and respected the entire time. We form a family and enjoy every day with great joy. This trip will stay forever in my memory and heart. Very grateful to the entire Access Nepal family, especially my guide Sobodh for all his care and teachings.

Grand tour of Nepal Our whole trip to Nepal was excellent from the tailor made itinerary organized by Pratap to the internal transfers by car. The whole trip was professionally organized after several discussions until it was exactly as we wanted and the tour company did not fail us. Our guide Bimal was very protective and very knowledgeable and the driver Laxman was safe and very experienced. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family as we got the exact trip that we wanted and expected. The hotels selected were fantastic throughout. Thanks Acces Nepal for the amazinn Langtang Valley Trek!! Spectacular trekking through the Langtang Valley, with wonderful views and a great feeling of peace and nature. The guides (Nava and Vicas) are excellent, very professional, always attentive to any customer need. The porters are very nice and hard workers.
