So I signed up for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and it was an amazing experience.
First of all, all the administrative stuff was handled amazingly. I was in touch with Sadhana, who answered all my questions (and there were a lot) with a lot of patience.
It all went very smoothly.

The trek itself was beautiful, the changing vegetation was an amazing experience. You start in the jungle and work yourself up to snow and stones. I have the admit, that it was harder than I thought, but definitely manageable as you do a break to acclimatize. Apparently people are doing it in two weeks, but I would definitely take the option of access nepal and do it in more days as you want to enjoy the scenery to, not just run the trek.

The porters and the guide were fantastic, I really didn’t expect that they go the extra mile every day.

As the guide plays a major role in the trek, some more words about Ganesh:

He was fantastic! Not only is he knowledgeable, doing this treks so many times he knows every stone, every teahouse and every person on the trek, also his attitude was amazing. He is really a great person, always laughing, always joking a really warm human being. I can absolutely recommend him.

It was a great experience doing this and the organization was spotless. Access Nepal delivered what was promised. They are a slightly bit more expensive than other companies, but keep in mind that this is a lifetime experience. I doubt, that I will do the same trek a second time. Therefore its totally worth it to pay a little bit more (and we are really talking about a marginal sum and have a great organization so you can focus on the trek. I will definitely come back and do the Everest base camp with Access Nepal!

Wonderful experience

This is a delayed review as we went to Nepal in April/May. My husband and I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek as we wanted something a little more off the beaten path than Annapurna or Everest Base Camp. We were very happy with this decision…we seldom saw other trekkers and most nights there were maybe a dozen or less others at our hotels (it got busier as we climbed as there are less villages and hotel options). We also added on a trip to Chitwan after our trek (which was very enjoyable…but very hot and humid that time of year). The company was great. We were a bit nervous to book with a company out of Nepal only because we have control issues and it felt a little scary to give all this money to a company halfway around the world and not really know what we were getting into. However, we were well taken care of by Sadhana, the owner who manages the booking and all the details, as well as our guide, Hom, and porter, Giri (who was training to guide that trek). Hom and Giri made the trek extra special and they were enjoyable to be around. Overall, we felt confident with their knowledge and experience.
No matter what company you go with, it is important to remember that Nepal is a third world country and they are in the midst of and recovering from a number of issues. Things are not always going to go as planned. That being said, it was a very wonderful experience, the people are very friendly, especially on the trek, and the scenery is beautiful.

Best everest Base camp trek

We just finished our trek to everest Base camp with Access Nepal, and we couldn’t possibly be happier. Everything from planning the trip with Sadhana in the office before to our guide Gamesh through the trip was fantastic. Not to mention our sherpa Kamel who without him the trip definitely would not have been possible.

The trip itself is stunning, the trail, mountains and villages along the way make every day exciting and perfect photo opportunities! Generally we walked about 5 to 6 hours a day which was achievable and meant we had plenty of time in the afternoon and evenings to explore the local areas.

Everest Base camp was phenomenal! Getting there was a dream come true and has only made us want to summit one day even more! Even if you don’t have dreams of climbing to the top of everest the base camp is a rewarding and exciting trip all on its own! The views of everest are spectacular especially as the sun rose over casting shadows into the sky!

Not only was the trip itself fantastic, my friend had her birthday on the mountain at 5100m and Gamesh was able to arrange a birthday cake and celebrations in the tea house we were staying in making it a birthday never to forget!

To sum up the people were friendly and helpful, the trek was unforgettable, the food and accommodation was better than expected and Access Nepal were fantastic!

I would and will always use Access Nepal when trekking in future!

Remarks: just ensure to put up a signage (at the entrance of your building) of your office at Thamel office, as not easily to locate……..

Completed the three peaks pass with access Nepal. Hiked for 15 days straight. Found a couple of day’s challenging. The challenge made the adventure even more special. Found access Nepal to be a great company. Everything was organised and constant communication between their office and our designated go between. Our guide Subodh was fantastic. Provided plenty information on cultural landmarks along the walk and of Nepal itself. He encouraged us to go at our own pace and was flexible with the path to make some days easier and catch up on other days. We had 3 sherpas Netra, yubaraj and Dipesh. These guys are beasts and well deserve a generous tip. All in all the trip was fantastic and the price for the trip was on the low side compared to other tour companies and they are a local company that rely on word of mouth. Would book them in again when going back to Nepal. David (Australia)

Annapurna Circuit Trek

My husband and I had a great experience with Access Nepal. We trekked the Annapurna Circuit in March 2019. Our guide, Puru, and two porters, Modon and Rajan, were all terrific. They were experienced, organized, supportive and always friendly. The gear we rented was clean and top-notch. We changed our itinerary part way through the trek and the guide made every effort to accommodate our wishes. Safety always came first! I would highly recommend this team and the company!
