A friend and I had talked about taking this trek for years, and we finally made it happen this year. We chose Access Nepal to do the Annapurna Sanctuary trek with, and they delivered in every way. It was a more scenic route to the Annapurna Base Camp. Sadhana was our contact point, and was lovely, and made everything clear and concise, from start to finish. Our Guide, Devman, was obviously highly knowledgeable, experienced and professional, and gave us subtle suggestions about things that ultimately made a big difference, like where & when to stop for lunch based on the particular weather we had or that he could see was coming. He was also so passionate about the mountains and he and our two lovely Porters were joyful to be with! We spent a lot of the time laughing. When I trek again in Nepal, it will be through this company.

It has been months since I was back from Nepal. While sitting in the office working on my long To-do list, I feel kind of depressed and can’t help but thinking of the days I was trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. It left me with all the beautiful memory which I will definitely remember for the rest of my life.

I live in Singapore and reason I chose to go trekking in Nepal was actually a hilarious one. A friend of mine just went not long ago before I did. And since the day he returned from Nepal, he had been telling me over and over again about how amazing the whole experience is and how breathtaking the view he got to see when he reached ABC. As a result, I yielded to temptation and only a few days later, I started to look for travel agencies in Singapore. Caught me by surprise, the quote I got was higher than expected which I had to search for other options. And to be frank, I was still very suspicious when I finally got in touch with Access Nepal Tours & Trekking, on one hand the package is extremely attractive and reasonable in price(almost half of the price of what I got from Singapore travel agency.

Lucky enough that I didn’t back off then because it turned out as a brilliant choice that I would never expect. The staffs picked me up at the airport and welcomed me with a beautiful flower-made necklaces (love it so much until I was busy in taking selfies while they driving to the hotel. Surprisingly the boss of the company welcomed me upon my reach, and he walked me through the whole journey. He covered every single detail and left me no questions to ask. And no doubt to tell that himself as a trek lover has had so many years’ experience in trekking and has been to so many different routines, he could even told about all possible problems at different stages I would face as a first-time trekker. Yet to mention, I actually supposed to join a team of two for trekking together and sharing the same trekking guide and porter. However due to the other foreigner missed the flight and hence couldn’t make it on time as scheduled, ended up I was granted to have the attentions all by myself. And that was why they said I am a lucky girl that I was about to become the queen of the mountain. They were so right to say that, and it had remained true throughout my whole journey. I am really grateful of how Access Nepal Tours & Trekking has made this experience of mine so special and memorable, I especially wanted to thank my tour guide and my porter, they were being professional and yet they took really good care of me.

Everest Base Camp trek with Gokyo Ri lake

It was superb !! I highly recommend Access Nepal for future EBC trekkers. they prepared us well, gave us all the information we needed, they even provided us with a very good sleeping bag and Down jacket (and I’m glad I had this :p !). Our guide “DEVMAN” was also exceptional, a fresh young guy with a true Buddhist heart. An honest man who gave us the perfect coaching and advice to survive and prevent the altitude sickness. He was also very profesionnal in finding solutions when we had some trouble to arrive in Lukla because of the clouds, but thanks to his calm and deplomatic negotiations we made it. I highly recommend him as a guide ( Access Nepal told us in the beginning that they had given us their best guide and they did). very good Hotel in Kathmandu when we arrived and prepared ourselves and also when we arrived afterwords. No really, Access Nepal was a very good experience for me, trustworthy, profesionnal, quality … When I’ll come back it will be with access nepal again. thank you for this beautiful experience 😉 David

Just returned from our 11 day trek to Everest Base Camp. Our guide Sub and porter Chet were absolutely terrific in every way. Their English is great, they always made sure we were taken care of before even thinking about themselves and we had so much fun!
Absolute trip of a life time and enjoyed every minute thanks to Sadhana and Access Nepal. Everything was taken care of from the minute we arrived at the airport so an absolute stress free trip.
100% recommend these guys and I can’t wait to come back next year and trek to gokyo!

Everest Base Camp trek April 2017

We booked the trek to Everest base camp with Access Nepal as they were the most competitive priced, Sadhana our contact focal point was very helpful and informative, email replies were very quick and answered any questions that we had. From the arrival in Kathmandu and throughout the trek the organisation and professionalism was fantastic. Our very experienced guide Jivan and our 2 porters worked tiredlessly to ensure we were looked after, we felt that we had the best rooms in the tea houses and fruit after each evening meal was the icing on the cake. Being a smaller group the whole experience was more pleasant, some of the other tour operators were running with very large groups which made meal times, the trek and room assignment problematic.
The trek ran like clockwork, our rooms were ready when we arrived at each destination, each evening we were briefed on what to expect for the next day. Lunch stops were leisurely, and the trekking pace comfortable to ensure maximum climatisation and eventual success to base camp. Reaching Everest base camp was very rewarding, the climbing season was well on the way and submitters were already in camp preparing for the challenge of the mountain, climbing Everest natural balcony Kala Pattar for sun rise and seeing the mountain mass emerge from the darkness was breath taking.
In Kathmandu we were treated to a traditional Nepalese evening before the trek start, and on our return a farewell and congratulations meal at a very nice restaurant.
I would certainly recommend Access Nepal Tours & Trekking, our Everest base camp experience was excellent. Thinking of a return in the near future to climb Mera peak, Access Nepal will be my first choose of tour operator.

Access Nepal is a very professional company and tended to our every need .
Our guide PN made us very comfortable and also taught us Nepaleese along the way . He is a very experienced guide and pointed out all the interesting sights along the way, if Iget the chance to go back I will definitely use them again.
