EBC Trek-Gokyo

We were 4 guys(around the age of 27) who did EBC trek and Gokyo with Access Nepal in the beginning of May.
Sadhana was the person who helped us to organise the whole trip in advance.
Our guide was mister Devman. Very friendly, experienced and professional. We all completed the whole trip without any problems our altitude sickness thanks to him. If you want a good guide I can definitely advise Devman!
The trekking itself was unbelievable. Nice weather and amazing views.
To do Gokyo after EBC is in my opinion a really good idea. You don’t go down via the same way. The hikes to Dzongla, Cho La Pass and Gokyo are really beautiful and there are not so many people on those tracks.
If you want to go for a trekking in Nepal I can advise Access Nepal to do trip with for sure! You won’t be disappointed!

Access Nepal Tour and Trekking were fabulous. Sadhana was very professional and efficient she went out of her way to arrange a car to take us from Pokhara to Kathmandu when our flight was cancelled.
I would highly recommend this company, they are honest, friendly and reliable.
My son and I are looking forward to booking next years trek with the same company.

I have completed the trek to Everest Base Camp(EBC)with Access Nepal Tours. The whole trip right from picking me from the Kathmandu airport was very well planned and professionally organized. As I am not a professional high altitude trekker, there were so many times during the trek I needed extra physical and mental support. The guide that came along with our group (Subodh) was always there for me during the entire trek. He even helped me to visit a local doctor at Namche for a check up as I was not feeling well. Luckily, everything worked out fine for me. The porters that were provided to us were also amazing bunch of guys. Always there to help you in whatever way they can so that we could complete the hike. Without the help and support of our guide and porter, I would not have completed my trek. I am very happy with all the professional service that was provided by Sadhana Adhikari and her team. They really go the extra mile to ensure that you are well supported during the trek. I would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal tours for all the trekking tours in Nepal. I would definitely be availing their services for all my future trekking trips in Nepal. They are just outstanding!

Fantastic trek to ABC with the best guide and porter!

I initially booked onto the ABC trek via an external company in the hope that more people would join on and we would be a large group. In the end, no one else signed up but the brilliant Purushottam (guide) and Madan (porter) were so kind, inclusive and fun that I never felt lonely as a solo traveller!

As soon as I arrived at the first hotel in Kathmandu, everything from Access Nepal was fantastic. You could tell it was important to Sadhana and Partap to make you feel comfortable with the plans and well prepared for your trip. They were such friendly faces to be welcomed by and made me feel so at ease and excited about what could be quite a daunting experience.

For the trek itself, I can’t stress how helpful it was to have such friendly and knowledgeable people as Purushottam and Madan by my side. Every time we turned up to the guest house, everything was all sorted and made it so easy to relax and just enjoy the trek. I always seemed to have the best room with the best views too which I was very happy about! The guys kept me laughing the whole way; teaching me Nepali words/phrases and trekking songs, informing me of different Nepali customs, and looking out for me when I felt ill/a little sore from all the exercise.

I have come away with great new friends and know I will be back for another trek with Access Nepal in the future! Thank you to all involved!

Gokyo Valley trek November, 2019

As a solo traveler I did the Gokyo Lakes trek with Access Nepal in November 2019. Beginning from Lukla on our first day we were trekking in the rain, but after that the weather cleared up, with excellent views of the Himalaya. We had a group of 5 trekkers, 3 porters and a guide, Giri. On our 6th day of trekking we reached Gokyo Village, a small village with several lodges and restaurants catering to trekkers. It sits at the edge of Gokyo Lake, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by spectacular peaks and flanked by Ngozumba Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal. Early the next morning our group did the climb up Gokyo Ri, reaching the summit about 2 ½ hours later, where we enjoyed a 360 degree view of the Himalaya, with blue skies and very few clouds. With good weather for 10 of our 11 days trekking it was all well worth it, and I am glad I did it, even though I flew half way around the planet to get there. Our guide Giri was great! He was very knowledgeable of the area, and made sure that everything went smoothly. Our contact in Kathmandu was Rahul, who organized the trip and took care of transfers and hotel accommodations. About halfway through the trip I had caught a bad cold and was feeling rotten when we got back to Kathmandu at the end of the trek. My return flight was booked for late in the evening but check out time at the hotel was noon. Rahul contacted the hotel staff and got an extension on my check out time, which shortened the wait time at the airport. In summary, I would highly recommend Access Nepal.
