In the evening, we will offer you a welcome dinner in one of the finest cultural restaurants of the city.

Day 02: Visit to Pashupatinath, Changunarayan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Take an early morning bath and get ready for the pilgrimage tour in Kathmandu. We will start with Pashupatinath Temple. One of the Hindu Shakti Peeth, Pashupatinath is the temple dedicated to Lord of Destruction, Shiva. Numerous Hindu devotees visit the temple every day. Probably you need to wait in a queue to offer prayers in the main Temple of Pashupatinath which is a large monument facing the huge golden color statue of Nandi (ride of lord Shiva). If you wish to offer a special prayer, which costs some additional amount, please let us know. In the bank of Bagmati River, which flows through the temple, Aryaghat is a sacred destination for Hindu death ritual. You can observe an ongoing ritual at the site.  Since it is pilgrimage tour, we have allocated a longer time compared to sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath. After offering prayers at the biggest Hindu Temple of Nepal, we will drive to Changunarayan. Almost at the distance of 10 miles from Pashupatinath, Nepal’s oldest Hindu Temple Changunarayan lies. The temple dedicated to Lord Bishnu is also the major Hindu Temple of the Valley. Then we drive back to Bhaktapur for our lunch. Post lunch we would explore the significant Hindu temples and shrines of the Durbar Square. At the end of the day, we will drive back to our hotel in Thamel.

Day 03: Visit to Dakshinkali Temple; Noon explore Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square

Once again, take an early morning bath at your hotel. Today we will drive early to the Temple of Dakshinkali. Twenty-two kilometers out of Kathmandu flanking Pharping the temple of Dakshinkali lies. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. Animal sacrifice while offering the prayers at the temple is common here however, not compulsory. Offer your prayers to Kali and then we will retrace our drive back to Kathmandu through serpentine road that offers the views of magnificent landscapes on either side of the road. At Kathmandu, we will enjoy our lunch and post lunch we will begin our exploration. We will begin with Kathmandu Durbar Square, an ancient monument holding several Hindu Temples and Kumari Bahal (Ghar) where Living Goddess Kumari dwells is one thing you will not prefer to miss at Kathmandu Durbar Square. After the exploration of Kathmandu Durbar Square, we will drive to Patan Durbar Square, which is the home to famous Krishna Mandir. We will have an insightful tour of Patan Durbar Square before we hit back to our hotel in Thamel.

Day 04: Early morning visit to Budanilkantha Temple; drive to Manakama Cable Car and fly on a cable car to Manakamana Temple

Today the pilgrimage tour takes you to the famous Bishnu Temple of Kathmandu, Budanilkantha. We will move at around 6:00 am. 10 kilometers from the city center, the statue of Lord Bishnu relaxing on a huge serpent bed in the middle of small pond is an enchanting view. Hundreds of Hindu devotees visit the temple everyday and in some occasions, the thousands of them throng to Budanilkantha. We will reach the temple early so that we can offer the prayers on time. After visiting the temple we would return to our hotel enjoy the breakfast and drive towards Manakama Cable Car at Kurintar in a tourist coach. After driving for 3-4 hours in a serpentine Prithivi Highway, we arrive at Manakamana Cable Car Station. 15-20 minutes of ride on the rope above high hills we arrive to Manakamana Temple. A Temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess who fulfills the wishes of devotees is one of the most visited Temples of Nepal. Today you will stay in one of the guesthouses at Manakamana.

Day 05: Offer prayer to Manakamana and slide down to Kurintar; Drive to Pokhara

Early morning after the ritual bath, we will walk to the Manakamana Temple to offer the prayers to wish fulfilling Goddess. After the prayer at the Temple, explore around for a while before we enjoy fresh organic breakfast in one of the local restaurants. After the breakfast, we slide down to Kurintar in a cable car. From Kurintar we board a tourist coach to Pokhara. 4 hours of drive from Kurintar would bring us to Pokhara- a scenic city with two important Hindu pilgrimage sites. As we transfer you into your hotel, you have free time to explore around the city. The best thing to do is to enjoy a pleasant boating session at Fewa Lake.

Day 06: Visit to Barahi Temple and Bindebasini Temple in the morning; Drive to Beni 82km

In the morning, we sail on the traditional boat to Barahi Temple, a two-storied island temple located in the middle of tranquil Fewa Lake. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Barahi. We will offer our prayers at the temple and sail back to the lakeshore. Then we will drive 5 kilometers to another famous Temple in Pokhara Bindebasini. A two-tiered temple dedicated to Goddess Durga which manifests centuries old architectural expertise is a highly revered Hindu Temple in Pokhara. After offering our prayers in the temple, our pilgrimage activity for the day ends. After the breakfast we quickly explore around Mahendra Cave, mystical Bat Cave and deep seated Seti River Gorge. After the exploration, we enjoy our lunch and post lunch a board a jeep to Beni. A small city at the bank of Kali nad Myangdi River, Beni is the Gateway to famous highland pilgrimage destination, Muktinath. 3 hours of drive on a black pitched road brings you to Beni.

The panorama of majestic Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and the unique Fishtail becomes more vivid as we drive closer to Jomsom. Arriving at the windy city of Nepal at around 9 am we still have to drive 2 hour more to Muktinath. Muktinath, a common pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Tibetan Buddhist is highly revered highland shrine in Nepal. The pagoda shaped temple of God Bishnu provides salvation, as per Hindu and as per Buddhists it is the abode of Buddha or say Avalokiteshvara. The long series of 108 waterspouts are very hallowed considering the belief of eradication of illness among both Hindus and Buddhists. After the visit of Muktinath we will drive back to Jomsom.
